What happens when you get damp, mildew, mold, no hot water or any idea how to sort the bills out....my new house!
We got the key's today. Saw the landlord for five whole minutes and boom...we where on our own.
-.- Oh and the smoke alarm keeps beeping at us.
I'm not there...non of us are. HJ (one of my house/class/friend mates) was going to move in tomorrow but I told her to hold off until I've scoured the place with bleach.
The landlord still has our contracts/agreements =/ and we where left with no information about the house. But what pissed me off most was the incompetence of one of my house mates. There are four us all together (two class mates and a girl from the advertisement course) and P is a 30 year old guy who's only ever lived with his mum and has no clue what he's doing. What's worse is that we agreed that me and HJ would have the top floor and Em and he would have the bottom...
I get the fact the room he's going into smells like an ass but I flipped this afternoon after his constant pussy winging.
Me: Fuckit! Fine, I'll have that room, I don't give a rats ass anymore. I'm too hot, I have no idea why I'm wearing a black shirt and I can't breath from mold spores.
I made everyone silent. -.-
On my way back to my partners house the train was an hour late and I had HJ on the phone in tears with a panic attack. Her Dad is planning on driving up from Grimsby which is a bit a way from Leeds to have words with the Landlord...and if he doesn't pull his finger out he's asking for HJ's rent back and we're going to go live as bums on the streets of Leeds. -.-
No, we have a plan B. If everything fall's through there's two great lads in my class who have two spare rooms. We're more friends with them than we are with P. At this point...sharing with them is looking like sun shinning out of a non existent Gods saggy ass.
OH WELL...rant over. I'll update this with more info later. I'm supposed to be moving next weds but we'll see how this spans out.
