You get me giggling like a little girl in a comic book shop.
It was an embarrassed giggle:
[link]I borrowed it from work, taking it back today and read it less than half an hour. It was err...Interesting to say the least.
If I'm being honest, it was like reading a very girly yaoi minus sex and...boy's and a plot. (Though there was boy's, it was an all male school until Kitty comes along.)
I saw the designs for the characters last year. It was like someone watched My Neighbour Totoro and decided THAT would be Doctor McCoy. Which was pointless because he was only in it for four pages.
It reads like fan fiction but was a very typical Shōjo manga and I can't see many boy's picking this up. Apparently, there's a market out there for this...I'm just not one of them.
Half way through I put it down and realised I had read it before over my brothers shoulder: Ouran High school. -.- They even had the same: Opening the door, bright light with swirling feather crap and a "Welcome" of all the boy's sat around the "king"...Which was either Angel or Pyro depending on the scene.
The one thing I did like? Xavier Chibi...If you can't laugh at that you have no soul.
In other news. Scored £13 tip from the pub...for I am that awesome. And my boyfriend and I saw Chirs Moyles (radio 1 DJ) live at the O2 academy in Leeds. There is nothing more satisfying that watching a slightly over weight man prance about on stage singing Mama told me to come.
Seeing Dorian Gray tonight... ;D
